ReviTEAlised Compost Tea

ReviTEAlised is a concentration of good biology which your growing medium lacks, or the use of chemicals has killed.
It is NOT a bio-stimulant.
ReviTEAlised is a one-pot solution. No started additives, activators or boosters are required which makes it foolproof to use. Its simple and easy to brew with the XL ProBio brewers and ready to use within 24 hours.

ReviTEAlised Tea Compost - what is it?

ReviTEAlised is an easy to use thermophillic compost, rich in a diverse range of fungal and biology, with added worm casts. It is used as a concentrate to create a biological extraction for use on all crops. It is 100% organic compost with NO chemical additives.

What is it made from?

It is made from carefully selected green matter which is rotted down at a controlled temperature, removing carbon dioxide and putting lots of oxygen back in to the mix so that we increase the level of aerobic biology. It typically takes 20-22 weeks for ReviTEAlised to be ready to use. We use a blend of 5 different thermophillic composts in one mix with added Vermi Compost. They are blended together to produce a consistent quality product all year round.

How is it different from other tea composts?

Thermophillic compost is composted over a longer period and should not be confused with the local composters who are making and offering a green waste material. Green waste material is being offered by some suppliers as a tea compost using various additives to try to stimulate the brew. Green waste compost typically takes only 5 weeks to rot down as opposed to the 20 - 22 weeks for ReviTEAlised. With ReviTEAlised everything is 1 tub - you don't need starter ingredients or sugars (so called carbon boosters) to make it work. Just open the pot and use!
Recent research is showing that some of the started ingredients used with other tea composts actually benefit the anaerobic bacteria and, although there are a few good anaerobic bacteria and fungi, most of the bad bacteria and fungi are of the anaerobic kind whereas the good ones are aerobic

Why not chemical fungicides?

Chemical fungicides kill the good biology as well as the bad. They totally destroy the natural balance of the soil community

Why and how does ReviTEAlised work?

ReviTEAlised increases the balance of good biology in your growing medium so that there is more good biology than bad. ReviTEAlised adds to and 'lifts' the biological activity of the beneficial fungi, bacteria, mycorrhizae and protozoa which should all be present in your substrate/soil. The good biology in ReviTEAlised sticks to the plant roots protecting the roots and feeding on the bad biology that wants to attack and infect the roots.  The micro-organisms are also natural plant hormones which encourage root growth and strengthens plant tissue

Is ReviTEAlised a fertiliser?

ReviTEAlised is not a fertiliser but part of the bacterial make-up in ReviTEAlised enhances the cationic exchange of nutrients converting your fertilisers into a form more available to the plant. Experience of effectiveness from users shows at least a 30% reduction in fertiliser costs

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS

For best results use borehole or rain water. If using chlorinated mains water ensure you bubble long enough to remove the chlorine (essentially bleach which will kill the good biology) before adding anything. You can normally smell the chlorine in the water but it can take up to 2 hours bubbling to remove the chlorine.
Once the water is ready to go, add the ReviTEAlised directly to the brewer.
Brew for 24-36 hours (longer in cold weather). Full instructions will be provided with your XL ProBio brewer for your reference.
Draw off a finished tea and apply to your crop/area. If filtering do not use a filter finer than 200 micron (as supplied with your brewer). For best results use the finshed ReviTEAlised brew within 4-6 hours.

How to apply ReviTEAlised

Apply as a drench at potting then treat by overhead applications every 14 days thereafter. It can be applied using overhead sprayers and diluted through a Dosatron set at 1:100.

Carry out the initial watering in with ReviTEAlised so that the biology can start to work protecting the roots. Apply approximately 10-20% of the pot volume at the diluted rate.
The same applies to crops in grow bags or on field/ground grown crops. Thereafter apply by sprayer, overhead or trickle lines every 14 days. 

It is safe to work on the crop during and immediately after application. 

BioLift can ONLY be tank mixed with XL ProBio products.
Best applied early morning or evening (biology does not like high UV levels).
Remove all traces of any previous applications from irrigation and spray equipment before using biology
Can be applied by either tractor mounted or knapsack sprayers or tank mixed in a tractor mounted sprayer or pedestrian knapsack sprayer.
A pedestrian air blast knapsack sprayer can be used and allows you to apply biology without large quantities of water in winter months.
