BioLift is an instant, ready and easy to use source of biology - simply open the can and use! It has 10,000 times more microbial activity (per litre) than any other compost tea on the market. 

Used on areas of poor biology or where there is a high level of disease or toxicity, BioLift is suitable for use on all sports turf areas (not suitable for use on clay as it is a natural clay breaker) and is derived from totally organic products with no chemical additives.

HOW DOES BIOLIFT WORK?

BioLift tilts the balance of good biology in your growing profile so that there is more good biology present than bad. BioLift adds to and 'lifts' the biological activity of beneficial fungi, bacteria, mycorrhizae and protozoa which should be present in your soil.
The good biology in BioLift sticks to the turf's roots protecting and feeding on the bad biology that wants to attack and infect the roots. 
The micro-organisms are also natural plant hormones which encourages root growth and strengthens plant tissue. In foliar applications it coats the foliage of the grass with such a large amount of naturally occurring beneficial microbial activity that damaging diseases can't attach to the leaf and attack the foliage.

What is it made from?

It is derived from worm casts. Worms can consume their own weight of organic matter everyday. Worm casts are a concentration of the micro organisms which were present in the matter that they consumed. The also contain beneficial yeasts, bacteria and fungi as well as plant hormones and enzymes, all of which are beneficial to the plant's roots and foliage. We extract the beneficial biology from the casts and supply it to you in liquid suspension ready to be applied. 

Is there any scientific proof it works?

Technical research at Ohio State University in the USA, and anecdotal evidence from users in the UK, has shown that the micro-organisms in BioLift enhances the soil biology community and this helps to explain the amazing results obtained with BioLift.  

Why not chemical fungicides?

Chemical fungicides kill the good biology as well as the bad. They totally destroy the natural balance of the soil community.

Is BioLift a fertiliser?

BioLift is not a fertiliser but the beneficial biology will feed off disease in the root zone. Part of BioLift's bacterial makeup enhances the cationic exchange of nutrients converting your fertilisers into a form more available to the plant. Experience of effectiveness from users shows up to a 30% reduction in fertiliser costs. 

Is BioLift safe and is it cost effective?

Please note that BioLift should not be confused with worm leachate which is anaerobic and can contain harmful bacteria. BioLift is totally safe - no chemicals are used in its manufacture and the basic feedstock of the worms is derived from plant sources. You can play on the surfaces immediately after application. Many of the playing surfaces in the UK and USA use compost tea - if there wasn't a cost benefit, they wouldn't use it...

How to apply BioLift

Best applied early morning or evening (biology does not like high UV levels), remove all traces of any previous applications from spray equipment before using biology. Can  be applied by tractor mounted sprayers or pedestrian knapsack sprayers. A pedestrian air blast knapsack sprayer can be used allowing you to get on to the greens without the risk of damage from using heavy spraying equipment.

Where can you buy BioLift?

BioLift is availble in 10 litre cans (2 cans per outer) from an XL ProBio Distributor. 
It has a shelf life of approximately 6 months and will treat up to 1 hectare.

BioLift can also be tank mixed with BioStim and ReviTEAlised.

50 litres of ReviTEAlised applied to 1ha in as much water as it takes to apply the dosage

Apply neat. Target rate 2.5 litres per 500m2
  • Apply every 14 days
  • Do not spray at higher than 5 bar pressure
  • Store in a cool, dark place
  • Store away from chemicals
